This is fantastic. Light and precise and pretty at first. Some hints of hold but a gorgeously lifted subtle palate. A whiff of mint, stone, oyster shells and a hint of warm lemon notes. Beautifully balanced and precise- makes you lean in to feel it

Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Looks young in the glass next to the 99 Chave. Quiet and tight nose. Strikes me as something from the 05 vintage - fruit forward, but lacking complexity. Not much acidity at first, but opens up with more air. I go with an 05 Leflaive Pucelles guess. For an 04 I was surprised how round and fat this was, not representative of many other 04s that have razor sharp acidity. This was more Chevalier like than anything.
