What a producer. Aromas are slightly muted, but the flavor jumps out at you. Acids in this wine allows this to last at least another 10-15 years per my taste. I decanted this wine for 4 hours prior to consumption, and Cindy Nguyen at my shop tasted this at 4 pm today and did a double take.

@Mike Smith hey Mike we dropped off that 2001 Kalin livermore at your house today. Thought it would be interesting. Comes from wente estate vines planted in the 1880s. Cresta blanca's similar Livermore semillon/sauv Blanc blend won the first Gold medal for a California wine in France at the 1889 Paris exposition.
