It is a glorious, clean entrance onto the palate. It is near perfect body. Granny Smith green apple, lime with zest, lemon chiffon, grapefruit, white peach, light tropical melon, cream, beautiful, powdery chalkiness, limestone marl, gentle, white spice white spring flowers, perfect acidity and a well balanced, well made, elegant finish that last 90 seconds and falls gently on soft minerality & light spice.

Much more on the tropical side compared to the Puligny from the same producer and about the same price. 100-120$. Same year and village level. I think this baby fat will go away over time. Otherwise this is flawless. Incredibly well crafted perhaps even too much so. Limes more classic than meyer, touch white peach. I can’t even get my head around the 11 attributes described by a professional of this wine. What is lemon chiffon???? Anyways in the end oh so subtle jasmine perks up. World class really but at a price! In the end i prefer the Puligny. And after this white Burgh splurge might need to go back to my all time favorite white - dry Riesling.
