Lovely nose. Tangy red cherry fruit, spice, leather and mineral. Floral. Lovely and pure. Palate is sweet, sappy some opulence with lovely heft and cracking 2014 acidity. Wow. Good structure and linearity. Bursting with red cherry fruits and granite on the long finish. Ripe and clean cut tannins. Great showing.

I adore 2014 Beaujolais and this is divine in the vintage. Deep cherry fruit with some funk and earth. Really smelly. Some hint of leather. Really wafting aromas. Palate is dense and structured and juicy. So clean and deep but currently (open 10 minutes) unyielding. But it is all there. Nose is the star. Will report back once it loosens up. Really opens up after 45 minutes. Stunningly complex.

A very nice wine to accompany the layering of the lasagna. Rich, plummy ripe cherry fruit with a warm clean moist gravel earthiness. Fluid, loose and mouthfilling with full body, great fluid texture and a long finish of the finest minerals the 1% can buy. Needs a year but still great now.
