Oldest wine I’ve ever had and an impressive showing at 50 years. Bit brown and leathery but the fruit, acid, and tannin are all still showing. Notes of Nixon and moon landing.

Wow this is almost years young. Still all there! Elegant with soft gripping tannins. Dried dates and figs. Great acidity. Thank Jerry!

1970 vintage. As yet, the most mature vintage I’ve had. Surprisingly, this didn’t seem tired at all. Just enough acidity left to balance out the fruit and earthiness. Mostly strawberry and cedar/vanilla on the palate with some peppery notes too. Even better in day 2. Good show! Merry Christmas.

Very vibrant. Not as complex as I'd hoped but very solid. Love 70 Rioja!

Still very intact and filled with life. My only gripe are the tannins that are a hair too dry.

Wow. Blew my mind, still so much primary character and heftiness still there, while carrying tertiary notes with ease and elegance. Bigger style, not any less iconic
