Me 2 years ago - “I’m going to drink one bottle and forget the rest for 5 or so years” Me 2 years later after finishing my 6 bottles- “Man I wish I had saved a few bottles to see how this would age” This has always been my issue with A-R wines. I know that they will age well but I just cannot keep my hands off of them. Such a beautiful French expression of Cali fruit.

Explosive Aromas of Blackberry, Purple flowers, Meat and Charcoal. Blue and black fruit flavors with hints of dried herbs, briny black olives and minerals. Extremely earthy with heightened black pepper on the long finish. Old World in style. Light in body and alcohol but full of flavor. Rich and Powerful expression of cool climate Syrah. Revisited in May 2022. Just an incredible offering. Could easily be interpreted as excellent Red Burgundy. Spectacular vino!

Appellationsvin från sex mycket svala vingårdar. Fint parfymerad med en uppsjö av bär som tranbär, björnbär, blåbär i smak och doft. Järn, chark, rosor och grön paprika ackompanjerar. Charmig och inbjudande utan att tappa sin hållning med avvägd tannin och fräschör i avslutet. Låg alkohol! Lite Cornas-vibbar.
