Granite slopes across ten villages, or "Crus", are home to arguably the greatest value red wines in the world. The Gamay grape is inherently fruity and lighter bodied. Coupled with fastidious growers farming organically with very old vines, this region in recent years has finally started to garner the respect on the world stage that is so deserves.
