Not shy at 15.4% and very "Foley-esque" with tons of creamy vanilla on the nose and palate. Firmly believing that there's no right or wrong in winemaking (or appreciation) to me it is all about individual preferences. Liking this a lot I'm wondering if it could have been even better with a different approach paired to the colder 2006 growing season? In a great spot now (11/2015).

I pretty much love all wines from the Douro Valley....but this is 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at 15.4% Nuff said..... Certainly there will be lots of (RP) fans out for this but you won't see me.
