'13 is the new '97. Amazing Merlot in its youth. Enjoy over the next 6-10 years.

One of the best California Merlots for this price point. Blackberry and dark earth aroma. Plush on the palate.

Better than when we had it at the winery. Fruit de force. Bravo.

Another excellent Merlot from the Hourglass team. Lots of blue fruit and cinnamon on the nose. A very solid showing of blueberry, mocha and coffee on the palate with a little spice and earthiness. The finish is bold with a solid backbone of tannins that are well refined but evident in balance with nice acidity. I love this wine and everything Hourglass produces.
