Amber red color. Translucent and clearly old. After some much needed air to open up, this had lots of aromatics going on that included some rhubarb and brown spice. Remained powerful and intense throughout the evening. Best sip was the last. Clearly our birthday host is working on a big evening with this presented as the first red.
