An experiment to see how this premium Lambrusco would play at 4 years. Still vital & less Brett after opening, a bit longer & suave with certainly less fizz. Cassis & black fruits somehow elegant. Perhaps I’m smitten w that paper wrapping under the wire cage.

Funkiest Lambrusco I’ve had. Likely Serapateona grape variety based on color. No sulfur additions per the producer. Wow.

Cutting, tart to the point of bitter. Tastes a bit like a raspberry before it’s ripe - a pithy cranberry. Too close to the center of the pit of a peach. This wine is not for the sensitive palate. Once opened, however, unique and pulls you in.

A truly dry Lambrusco with as others mentioned a fabric label. Got one case and it is gone in less then a week. Perfect with pizza. Rich dark fruit, violets and a little earthy/mushroom thing going on. So good.

Meh. I prefer for the Lambrusco to be a bit more sweet. As is it is too dry.

Really interesting no sulfate Lambrusco. It takes a bit to open up and definitely funky. Plum pomegranate on the nose. Had with pizza.

The bubbles are fun and the flavor is tangy, bright and a little tinny. Cranberry and rose on the nose. The label (sewn!) is my favorite part
