This was interesting but not for me. Smells of golden apples but there is a bready bitterness that neither I nor my fiancé enjoyed. Was a bit better with the veggie pizza we made but not by much.

Traditional method sparkling wine from Tokaj, delicious complement to the spicy tuna poké with avocado, seaweed salad, and edamame. Medium yellow hue, with flavors and aromas of orchard fruit, such as ripe pear, yellow apple, white flowers, biscuit, and a medium body, medium acidity, medium alcohol. Aromatic. Dry on the palate. Vintage 2015. ABV 13%.

Wow, delicious. Had as the finishing wine of a tasting menu and pairing at Otoko in Austin. Very bright, slight oaky flavors, dry but not puckering, and apparently made for Hungarian royalty. Will absolutely buy again.
