Soft and graceful with fresh ripe red fruits on the nose. Light and pleasant texture, structure and body. Savory gamy vibes and plenty of acid. Delightful.

Not bad but not great. I would go for it again if I needed a red and nothing else looked appealing. Had at Local in Jackson, WY

Medium body. Aromatic with earthy notes a hint of funk and red and dark berry. Palate is fresh with bright acidity and medium tannins.

Pity Cahors. Sold in London as early as the 13th century, widely lauded and even copied by Crimean Russians in the 19th. Add to the mix phylloxera and a huuuge frost in 1956, undercut by Languedoc plonk...well what does it taste like? Sour plum/cherry, tannic undergirding. Fantastic with food, I'd take this over its Argentinian cousins any day.
