Oh Merlot, maligned by some (like Paul Giamatti's character Miles in the movie Sideways), loved by others (perhaps too much, making it a victim of its own success). From Carlo Rossi to Miles's beloved Cheval Blanc (oh, the irony) Merlot stars in a wide range of roles, both high brow and low. We like to think of ours as the hidden gems of the bunch (pun intended).
