GUARANTEED BEST PROVENANCE: IMPORTED BY AIR FROM ITALY AND STOCKED IN CALIFORNIA I tasted this 2015 vintage at the Produttori cantina in October of 2016, and was instantly enamored with this fresh Langhe Nebbiolo. Aged just 6 months in large botti, you really get to taste the delicious Nebbiolo fruit. Dark red cherries and plums with floral notes of violets and a touch of wild fennel come through on the palate. Tannins are modestly there, but not as substantial as in their normal Barbaresco. As Produttori's entry level Nebbiolo, you get a lot for the price. Definitely drinkable now.

unexpectedly bright- in the best way possible. as it opens tar and macerated black berries come thru. I haven't had in a few years and I still enjoy this. Great red for fatty fish. Upped my rating on day 2. delicious

A little young and a bad year for the area, but good tannin balanced with cherry, for a light Nebbiolo. Will buy more to age.

So much has been written about this wine by the people who love it. There isn’t much I can add. “Cedar,” “cherry cola,” and “bouncy acidity” are right on the mark. My wife doesn’t like it, but she doesn’t like Italian reds in general, so there it is.

Tart cherries, dark fruit, rose petals, cloves, earthy. Definitely recommend decanting for at least an hour.
