GUARANTEED BEST PROVENANCE: IMPORTED BY AIR FROM ITALY AND STOCKED IN CALIFORNIA Ben Ryé is a brilliant amber in the glass, with intense aromas of dried apricots, peaches, figs & candied orange. On the palate it's all that, with a scrubby herbal Mediterranean note that is characteristic to Pantelleria. While sweet, it's not excessively so, and it has a delicious freshness with good acidity & a long finish that makes it a joy to drink. This is perfect as a dessert wine all by itself (a so-called “meditation wine”), but it also pairs wonderfully with rich blue-veined cheeses & almonds.

So fucking intense and concentrated, but manages to not go over the cliff. I actually went back for a second taste.
