Smells like street after a warm rain.. Lots of Ozone on this nose. Black- berry/cherry/raspberry blend, heavy handed, yet soaring clean like these Cali wines do. Bitter at first, as if whole cluster fermented. Zingy acidity. Enjoyable.

Yum yum in my tum. I have really enjoyed refined and focused Sonoma Coast syrah this year. They have better balance, lower alcohol, slightly more acidity - reminiscent of a great St Joseph or Cornas from Rhône. Slight of bacon fat and dried herbs, with dark cherry and black plum notes, backed by some soft funk.

Excellent nose with an herbal and game quality. Palate is classic pax with good fruit but a nice umami quality. Amazing value during the wind gap sell off.

Bright acidity and light tannic structure. Tart cherries, a hint of dark cocoa and wood bark. This is really nice.

Very light on it’s feet, this syrah exudes a fragrant floral nose with a silky palate of blue and black fruits. The alcohol is nearly imperceptible through the finish. Plush but not intoxicatingly so.

Expressive nose of slightly underripe to ripe black fruits, spice, dried herbs and old dusty oak. Ripe black fruit on the palate with sharp acidity and a medium plus tannins. Nicely balanced and well structured cool climate Cali Syrah coming in at 12.6% alcohol. Really enjoyed this and it only for $15 in Last Bottle.

Very well-made wine. Light body, highish acid, good depth/length, high toned quality fruit. Great with food. Tastes like cool climate Syrah should. Wind Gap wines always solid on the new-California tip
