Smells like street after a warm rain.. Lots of Ozone on this nose. Black- berry/cherry/raspberry blend, heavy handed, yet soaring clean like these Cali wines do. Bitter at first, as if whole cluster fermented. Zingy acidity. Enjoyable.

Yum yum in my tum. I have really enjoyed refined and focused Sonoma Coast syrah this year. They have better balance, lower alcohol, slightly more acidity - reminiscent of a great St Joseph or Cornas from Rhône. Slight of bacon fat and dried herbs, with dark cherry and black plum notes, backed by some soft funk.

Love this wine. Bright acidity, great Tannin structure and complex red fruits. 12.6 abv, quaffable!

Tight at open w some acidity and bramble. As it opened it revealed a beautiful blueberry/blackberry situation w really nice cocoa notes around a soft mid-palate. The tannic finish is subtle and soft but builds to a completely full tannic wash over you mouth. This was not the most layered wine but it was certainly nuanced which I think belies the quality with which it was made. Delicious.

Alluring #sonomacoast #syrah - layered nose featuring black+blue jammy fruit and shades of northern Rhône smoked meat + olive notes. Tastes of dark fruit compote, bacon fat, leather framed by firm acidity and medium tannins. This set off beautifully against a Thanksgiving smoked brisket.

Excellent nose with an herbal and game quality. Palate is classic pax with good fruit but a nice umami quality. Amazing value during the wind gap sell off.

Bright acidity and light tannic structure. Tart cherries, a hint of dark cocoa and wood bark. This is really nice.
