Pale lemon with active effervescence. The nose unfurls with apples, citrus, apples, smoke, and some apples. There’s just a touch of brioche but it soon fades when lemon zest and a hint of cherry takes over. The nose carries over to the palate with baked apples with a light dusting of cinnamon. There’s a really nice element of cheese on the tongue that is just lovely. Composed of the three main grapes, this is a really nice entry bottle for the house that over delivers by quite a bit. While Chardonnay dominant, the Pinot Noir really shines after some time has passed. A definite banger.
