It's ridiculous how Grünhäus can always pack so much flavour in a wine, yet have it remain so light. Power of terrior if you ask me. Smoky, floral, yellow stone fruits, citrus zing, herbs, just pure electricity in the mouth. Long and fine finish. Another exemplary kabi from this legendary estate!

Peak of summer is Kabi time! Fresh & light yet punching some much flavour! After the first naphtha nose blows off this shows amazing purity & freshness with fresh vineyard peaches, underripe apricots, a flowery whiff, some tangerine peel. And cool, slightly spicy, slate minerality. Very enticing! Not exactly weightless as some can be (warm vintage), this delivers beautiful purity of fruit balanced off with zingy acidity. Nicely poised & balanced. Very elegant and highly drinkable. This is really good stuff!

Quite shy at the beginning, starts showing nice yellow fruit after some time with a hint of undergrowth + a whiff of mint? On the palate impeccably balances with each, juicy acidity and a mineral, flinty backbone that carries a long way. This is longer & more balanced & nuanced than the Herrenberg... an great Kabinett, which should only improve.
