Magic Square. Gentle meadowy nose. Mellow acidity. Inviting. Crisp. The 2019 Sancerre Le Tournebride is deep, clear and earthy on the rich, intense, very elegant, promising and stony nose. Full-bodied, quite rich and intense on the palate, with crunchy salt grains and lingering salinity, this is a substantial and stunningly fresh Sancerre from a vintage whose big problem was to keep the acidity. Tasted in February 2021. RP91
