Showing a touch of oxidation in the brick color and on the nose yet it remains a well-balanced, bramble-scented wine. Good acidity but gliding over the hill

Not a big fan of CDP in general, but this is very good. Nice balance of fruit and rusticity (is that a word?)

Pretty rough around the edges with tough tannins, deaf fruit, and pepperiness. Very rustic. Not my fav CDP.

2007. Asimov featured this wine as a counterpoint to Parker's favorites from the 2007 Cndp vintage. It has aged beautifully & elegantly. No ooze-bomb here. Beautiful stuff.

Bold and fruity right off the first sip. Opened up nicely and was an excellent pairing for Thanksgiving feast. If you can find the 2007, it's ready and raring to go. This Monpertuis is excellent.
