Very plush and ripe surprising Crushed cranberry leather spice and clove and pepper. Palate is mid weight and ripe fruit on a palate w toasty oak. 15% alcohol but not hot on finish.

A decade old, so glad I didn't drink a day earlier. Still bold intense but has softened. Some barnyard notes at first. Nice soft tannins. That lovely thing that happens to good wines with age where the brightness of the fruit fades into dried fruit and flowers. This is a wine to age.
