As compared to 10 yr, more cooked fruit from ex-sherry casks, milder peat. Richer with great finish. Love it.

Gorgeous nose of macadamia nuts, beeswax, honey, and toffee, this whisky is beautifully integrated and finishes smooth and clean the way a whisky of this age should. Citrus peel, umami and caramel, almonds and macademias in cream. Just a hint of smoke rounds things out and adds some complexity and character. Has some burn for a 15 year.
