Absolutely a knockout. Last had almost 2 years ago and the time has been good. Decanted 1.5 hours, still fairly primary - would be a delicious one to age more, but so it goes. Aromatically incredible. So deep on the palate with that perfect refreshing note on the finish. Excellent pairing with fennel rubbed roast chicken, mushrooms cooked in the chicken fat, and oven fries with a tarragon aioli.

Last had this 1.5 years ago and it was high time for a check in. Decanted 1.5 hours, could have used a bit more. Paired with pork chops stuffed with porchetta seasoning and a mushroom polenta. Perfect with food. Tannins still quite present. You do get that lovely nebbiolo minty note on the finish. Nice balance of fruit, earth, and acid. Very nice.

Beautiful aromas. Nose alone is a 9.4. Color is quite translucent in the glass - looks quite “traditional” in that sense. After a 2 hour decant, the fruit starts to sing a good deal. Tannins are there but on the more integrated side for Barolo. A touch restrained overall, but very nice. Excellent refreshing finish with good acid. Moving up to 9.3 after another hour of air. Suggest decanting for 3-4 hours. Beautiful and seamless at this point.
