Started closed and shy. Blossomed into a nice, dry Pinot noir profile. Faded after a couple of days opened.

Fun on day 1, even better on day 2. Softer tannins and fleshier fruit but retains a light mineral core.

The nose is a bit of a tease, with hints of herbs and ginger eclipsing subtle wafts of orchard fruit and riverbed minerality. The autumn gold hue is a bit misleading (but remember, these wines spend considerable time on their skins); rather than rich viscosity, the palate is impressively fresh and citrusy, while still maintaining a level of grippiness and structure. Believe it or not, I had this with sushi and it did not disappoint!

Karaffjuice som behöver tid för att mogna. Fin godissmak när det väl framträder. Småpartierna.

Rustic to the point of sourness. Cloudy. Maybe I had a bad bottle. Passed its prime?
