The smells are killing it, just soars from the glass. Herb, incense, dark fruit, spice. Well rounded and palate pleasing with dark red fruit, spice, and even a hint of anise providing nice complexity. Last one of these in the cellar glad it showed well.

Very much in keeping with what one expect from 2009 on the Central Coast. Opulent, ripeness with abundant fruit and spice. A little the slutty side (not that that's a bad thing!)

Developing beautifully. Decanted for 2 hrs and got better as the afternoon went on. Some nice spice to this and should continue to improve

Cherry flavors, a little sweet mid pallet a little tartness on the finish balances it out.

darker fruited than I expected, totally delightful all around. more generous than you'd think from the alcohol level, but balanced and happy-making and allathat.
