Just hitting this after about a three hour decant, and I can already confirm that's not enough time. Way sexy brown-red color, like really awesome. Nose is almost Barolo-like, stewed red fruit with the raisin style nose. I'll get more into notes later once the bottom has proper air...this could be tomorrow! Back to it after 48 hrs... Nose is a little closed, but about the same. Palate is more expressive today, dried cherry with mid-level tannins, but still does not appear ready. We'll get back to this in +24 hrs in hopes of betterment.
