Drinking Sheri's birthday wine. Catching this right around its peak. Very brown color when pouring and aromas of prunes and dried cherries. Savory flavors of tomatoes, cherries, and cedar with plenty of acidity and soft tannins. Thank you, James and Kimberly!

Still ruby red. Vibrant nose of violets dark berries and some sweetness like watermelon. Big shoulders and structure in the mouth. Med plus finish.

Wow!!!! I just opened it and all this forest aromas and leather hit me from the glass... spearmint, green vegetable notes, delicious, savory, mid body, the tannins are still there producing some dryness and making it more interesting. Did not expect it to be some vigorous at 21!!

The 1999 Pertimali held up real well. It was smooth Brunello- still can go for 5-10 more years. It was loaded with dark cherries- very rustic.

Whoa! Now this is a brunello. Smoky and unctuous at the same time. Mild dark berries -almost jammy without the sugar (puree?). Holy cow buy this wine. Solid for lamb chops and sophisticated meat dishes.
