Bright red fruits, cranberry, black currants, & raspberry. Good acidity and citrus notes ruby red grapefruit and anis.

An enjoyable Gamay, albeit more tart and, ironically, more grapey than I expected. Classic Gamay aromas of raspberry and wet stone are present, and there is huge, red fruit character, and a good finish. It did hold up well with hearty/spicy food, too. Not bad for the first Willamette Gamay noir I have tried, and maybe the balance will improve with time.
