A bit more than medium gold. Heavy in the glass. Great leesy nose. Notes of apricot, ginger, orange marmalade, tan spice and gravel. Ripe fruit. Fat with light acidity. This bottle was in great shape. Mele Kalikimaka!

Medium gold and heavy in the glass. Great old burg nose from the get go. Notes of ginger, apricot, white clay, tan spice, and some cardamom. Rich and viscous in the mouth. Modest acidity. Similar to other bottles I’ve had of this, this is still delivering a great experience. Tasty finish. Still holding on, but not forever.

From a good looking bottle with a nice fill. Medium gold. Moves swiftly and heavily in the glass. Great nose immediately. Notes of lemon peel, apricot, orange, tan spice, crushed white stone and a little ginger. Crazy in the mouth. Tons of zip and acidity with sweet fruit to match. Layers of enjoyment. Best showing of the many bottles I’ve had of this. Yum.

Canary gold color. Bright in the glass. Great nose. Leesy. Notes of lemon, apricots, yellow flowers, clay soil, tan spice and some ginger. Rich and viscous in the mouth. Palate staining as it gets more air. Lots of fruit matched against great structure and acidity. Really nice.

Medium gold. Heavy like oil in the glass. Amazing nose with notes of apricot, vanilla, white flowers, lemon, wet stone and a little mint. Amazing balance in the mouth. Lots of acidity comes on with air, which matches an abundance of rich fruit. Last sip was the best. Aged white burg at it's best.

Bought today at a Carmel wine shop for a day at the beach with some cheese and bread. Great fill, and perfect looking bottle. Youthful color and appearance. Light gold. Vibrant. Nose has notes of citrus, ginger and river stone. Great mouth feel. Chewy. Needs air time. This has years ahead of it.

Golden color. Odd nose. Fruit and fun are present in the nose but it also had something a bit off in it. After some guess work I’m thinking volatile acidity. Didn’t improve with air. Absent that this had the ingredients to still be special. Bummer.
