Pale, translucent / ripe raspberry, rose petal / super delicate, subtle, thoughtful, restrained / some spices slide in on the finish, elevated by minerality / lucid and haunting

Gorgeous dark fruit and mineral nose. Silky and almost savory on the palate with its rich fruit offset by saline minerality.

This is my first Kelly Fox wine and I’m more fascinated than I was with mrs Day. Maybe because Kelly is also a farmer and winemaker the way stuff gets done in Côte d’Or. This has some serious potential. Compares well with any village level Volnay. Different nose and more pale in color but very good. The only turndown is the screwcap.

Needed about an hour of air, but then so silky, red-fruited and refined

Bright, transparent ruby, red flowers, wild strawberry, mineral, spice, fine tannin, long finish. This is just so charming and pure.

Super interesting mini vertical where 2014 and 2015 were insanely hot years and they learned how to adapt for 2015.

Black raspberries, rhubarb, gravel, clove, black tea. Vibrant rounded acidity, minimal smooth tannin presence, medium bodied, juicy-silky texture, smoky slightly floral finish. Minerality and structured like an Austrian pinot.
