Lewis Chester
2012 vintage. Pale lemon hue. Quite round on the nose and creamy oak, ripe lemon and short-cake - reminds me of Chablis but with less minerality. On the palate, powerful attack of concentrated ripe lemon fruits and hints of apricot. High acidity, medium body and medium plus concentration. Real bite on the finish. There's an elegance in the mid palate and a decent finish. Good now but drink until 2025.

Intriguing nose that keeps you coming back. Mineral palate, lanolin and balance.

J'aurais parié sur un 2011. Manque de hauteur.
