Nice. Light ruby color in the glass with cherries and red berries on the nose, along with some grassy herbal notes and a little barnyard funk. Earthy beetjuice on the palate. After an hour aromas have dissipated a bit.

Régnié doesn’t get much better than this. Intense minerality. Aromatics are high-pitched, flowery and redolent of tart red berries, crushed granite, fresh compost and peat. Bright, crunchy, laser-focused and lean on the palate with enough acidity to jump a motorcycle engine.

A tad reduced. Needed a decant. With lots of air it started to come around.
