Wilder, juicier, more feral than the 2017 Chamonard Madone Fleurie tried side by side. Less development in the bottle, fresher, cleaner, juicier. Really quite nice, pure tart length. Maybe a 9.3 if this holds up in the fridge.

I love Gamay, and this was a Gamay noir, served slightly chilled. Bright, with lots of acid, fantastic for drinking with food but also really tasty on its own. Lots of fruit.
