One of the bottles brought back from a trip I took to Umbria in Fall 2024. Love revisiting this wine and makes me ache to go back! Nose - Clay, wet soil and minerals. Flavors - unripe cranberries and Sweet Tart candies and unsweetened Cool Aid. Healthy tannins. The tannins smooth out at the end on the finish with in hint of sweetness.

Will be on the lookout for more of this one. Excellent QPR. Great food wine.

Natural woody mossy spring green flower meadow smell, mud on trails too, very tart and floral/sorrel with a meaty clay resolution that stays and has that sour gray clay feeling, not an everyday wine bc of tannins but pair with cheese/sausage and viola!
