04 was a difficult vintage. Is this success? This is the perfect amount of balance in what even tastes obviously like a difficult vintage...to produce electric storms of in my mouth. A "lesser" vintage but I actually appreciated this less ripe style, totally different side of this wine compared to the '01. Persimmon, spice and smoke aromas and herbal, stemmy and peppery flavors.
