Very nutty and serious. Classic sur voile aroma. A blast of tart yellow fruit juice on the attack, all on the mineral side. Then this seems to drop off on midpalate only compared to the start and finish, which are tuned to volume 11. The finish just demolishes, goes on forever with walnut, preserved lemon, slate. But then every sip is a different experience. Really a wine of intrigue. Wow days in the fridge and this has become insane. So much more dense, savory and chewy. Really curry notes are building.
