Earthy, funky, and a little Bretty, with the distinctive Band-Aid note. Dom. Bois de Boursan is a 10 HA property with 27 separate vineyard parcels worked organically. Vinification is traditional and the wines age 18 months or more in a mix of cask and tank. This wine is very tightly wound on the palate, and its red berry fruits and peppery brambles need time and air to open up. I recommend holding, or decanting for at least one hour and serving with lean game.
