Well balanced, fresh and elegant upon opening. Hours later some expected mature Bordeaux character comes out. The tannins have certainly softened since having this many years ago. I’d say this is hitting a good drinking window.

Good bordeaux.... earth iron and currants. Tannins starting to integrate .. good acidity. Smooth... nose still alive after three days ... palate a bit off.. bitter...

Cherry, manure, orange blossom, mushroom, graphite, leather, olive on the finish. Balanced but not exciting. Fading quickly

Drank with grilled burgers at dads. Opened slowly. Very good, but probably needed to open longer and warm up. Getting dark red fruit (plum) and graphite. Very smooth tannins. Wish it was a magnum. Need to drink other bottles soon.
