My last 375mL of 2010 and this was the best yet. Plums, cassis, pipe tobacco, damp hollowed out log, leather and olive tapenade. Pretty awesome for a Cru Bourgeois.

2010 vintage. 40 hectares bordering Saint-Julien. Solid colour. Cassis, black cherries, blackberries and cedar wood. Well-balanced classic Haut-Médoc without great complexity or length, but it is in a very good place now and it shows no signs of fatigue.

Tart mulberries and kirsch. Tannic beast at the moment. Needs time to become more refined

A lovely wine, full of fruit and a great backbone of silky tannins. To drink and drink again. Chateau located right on the edge of St Julien

Not like 2009. But still tasty. Good Earthiness.

Full bodied, dense, deep ruby Bordeaux. On the nose: dark mulberry fruit, cedar, & a touch of eucalyptus/camphor. On the palate: dark fruit, cedar and light tannins. After 40 minutes decanted the tannins recede and the soft fruit is delicious. This wine is fully mature and a terrific offering from Medoc. If you have it or can get it, drink now and enjoy!

Cellared for 10 years. Made in one of the best years in Bordeaux. Sweet rounded tannins evolving into very dry dark tannins that grip your tongue and throat for several minutes. Tobacco notes. No fruit.
