In a wide-bottom decanter for 3 hrs and it needed every minute. On the nose: black tea, wild strawberry, soft bubblegum. Amazing acidity and good density, stony minerality, bright red fruit leaning wild strawberry. Soft tannin on the long finish. I wanted to see how this was tomorrow, but it was such a hit that it disappeared fast: eminently drinkable; 12.8% ABV to boot. Wow. Better than I remember my last btl being, if still very primary.

Just lucious. Spicy and so much character. Subtle finish.

Some funk and reduction on opening, much better on day two. Red and black cherries, mineral, baking spice, silky tannin, long finish

Decanted. Didn't touch until 3hrs open. A soft touch of reduction still, some very soft Cameron mushroom/funk, then loads of rainier cherry, wild strawberry, soft plum, baking spice, loads of complexity and nothing is overdone. On the palate, lovely acidity, black cherry, baking spice, soft white pepper, crystalline black raspberry, good salinity, very soft tannin on the dark finish. This is darker than the Clos Electrique, which makes me appreciate it slightly less, but this is a stunning btl of PN.
