Very clean, slightest textural pull from the tannins, a piquant thing that another reviewer perfectly described as blue cheese. Balanced green apple acidity, but soft McIntosh like apple flesh flavors and wet slate, ozone after rain clean water aromas.

Birth year wine! Took a while for the wine to open. Deep golden yellow. Bruised apples and pears, apple skin. Freshness and minerality throughout the palate. Slightly nutty, like almonds and some florals like bruised petals. Gorgonzola cheese and some herbaceous notes linger. Despite the age, a fresh and delicious white wine.

Pinched the end of this from a table of guys who byo'd glasses to wu's wonton king. Tasted like coconut tanning oil in a way that was fun but made me question all I know

A bit oxidized but still a nice opportunity to see how a tocai fruilano holds up to some serious bottle age.
