I loved this one. Blandy's 1920 Bual was just gorgeous. Dark brown. Very rich, and viscous in texture. Orange peel comes through in abundance. Incredible length, complexity. Slightly bitter at the end of the finish. Gorgeous. (One of the reasons why I like tastings like this one from the FWS is that I'm not going to race out to drop $1100 on a bottle like this. But it's such a thrill to have a taste. Maybe I'll split one with 20 friends and we'd have a 1920s themed dinner... now that's an idea.)

1920- terpines, lovely fruits have muted into lovely secondary aromas. Lifted, not cloying.

Searing acidity. Super nutty. I say yes to 1920!

Delectable is a shit app and won't let me out in my photo. Extraordinary intensity. Bottled in 2006. Opened in July drunk in December at blandy a lodge less sweet than most buals. Thrilling acidity. Smoothness. 21 abv. Salinity about 50 euros a glass 700 a bottle. The joy of drinking something by the glass. Sharp and coating. Almost has the complexity of great vinegar. Notes of concord grape

Absolutely brilliant. Whole table blind thought it was 1940s or 1950s. Candied tangerine, caramel and rum molasses. Concentrated and insanely long but with shockingly vibrant citrus tones. A treat.
