Enjoyable Cinsault from Cali. Odd. But I likes me them Rhone varieties. Fruity but not overly so.

I'm a big fan of Cinsault and have enjoyed several from Bechtold. This isn't my favorite from the site. It was pretty and balanced, but a bit simple and straightforward.

Fresh and bright. Delicious. Oldest Cinsault vines on earth.

120 year old Cinsault vines. Ever since drinking something by Clos Saron I think non-gnarly cinsault tastes blue, somehow. This is blue and quite damn good.

Needed an hour or so open to build depth under the fruit, but then delicious. Still mostly fruit with a dark brambly underbelly.

Delicious. Not really sweet but not tannic either. Sort of like a light pinot but with more character. Stands up to complex beef dishes.
