93 Points - James Suckling, www.jamessuckling.com: "Aromas of black currants, black berry and wet earth follow through to a full body, dark and juicy fruit and a long and flavorful finish. Layered and rich with a lovely ripe tannin mouthfeel. Shows the opulence of the outstanding 2015 vintage." 2/8/17 93+Points, Zachys Buying Team: “Wow, what a wine! The nose is extremely expressive, with an explosion of rich black berries, crème de cassis, blueberry, crème de cassis, violets, vanilla, and chocolate covered cherries, and all carries through to the palate.

Deep purplish red. Lovely, dark and rich nose with dark cocoa, dark cherries, mocha, dark spices and some black fruits too. Medium tannins (6/10) and rounded. Dark fruits on the palate with balanced acidity and pleasant earthiness. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2022. Need to try warmer next time.

Excellent juice. Deep extraction. Unctuous nose. On the palete, the tannins are ripe, yet plush. Finishes with ripe cherries and sweet black fruits. A wine for the discerning masses. At $15 per - unbeatable! I think this is their 3rd wine, incredible quality.

Okay here's the deal. If you want to be a cool old world guy but you're too attached to California palates, try this out. Maraschino cherry on the nose, smells rich as hell, balanced tannins, black raspberry, black cherry.

I remember this not being as big as other Bolgheris I had in Italy, and not being in love with it, but it was nice. Also was the 4th bottle of the night, to be fair.

A delicious red easy drinking wine. This wine has enticing aromas of red berry fruit sweet spice and roasted coffee. This wine is well balanced on the palate with good length and a fruity finish.

A Bolgheri Guadiana Al Tasso gem. The 2015 is better than the previous vintages I’ve had. It’s darker more inky with fuller fruit on the nose. The first sip is black berry with strong hints of red cherries. It’s a very good effort of the region verses other I’ve tried from Bolgheri. A little more time in the cellar would be interesting.

Modernist approach. This is the Italian wine to serve people who want to get into Italian wine. It is round and polished (slick even) but still has some Tuscan funk/earth. Well done.
