Inky inky purple like when I was a kid making grape kool-aid from packets of chemical plus pounds of sugar. Smells promising- deep fruit, herb that is familiar but having a hard time identifying (maybe mint+sage?) and toasted oak. Herbacious flavors come through along with cocoa bean and diner coffee. Good acid/tannin balance. Not amazing, but the most enjoyable of the 3 Malbec I've tried this week. $42 Draeger's
