Just an incredible value. Don’t know of many California wines at sub $20 that can touch this American “mostly Rhône” beauty!

This in our mind is a special white wine Rhône example from Cali. Unctuous, dense, and packed with exotic fruits. While it lacks acidity, this oily, viscous example will cellar for at least another 5 years, but I don’t see it further improving. Sushi from Hillstone, NYC.

Just excellent, and improving with age. Exotic and viscous Rhône white blend, with tropical notes of pineapple, almonds and white pepper. Oily mouthfeel, finishing sweet with wispy acidity. At $22, this is a no-brainer.

Another @David L proposal, which is excellent - thank you. It has many similarities with a white Rhône, but I find it more accessible and appealing. The Viognier in the blend takes center stage, while the Grenache brings the texture and stone fruits. Would love to taste this 5 years from now, but it’s already gulpable. Renovations update - another wall removed, and eyeing up replacing the 2nd flight of stairs...

Aromas of tangerine and ripe melon lead to flavors of peach and apricot. Balanced acidity and juicy honeysuckle accent the chalky finish with a hint of hazelnut. The red blend is one of my favorites, so I had to try the white, and it was everything I wanted it to be. Paired perfectly with Thanksgiving dinner.

Sweet notes of honey, ripe melon and pine nuts. Agree with @Ron R - This does take you to a great place. Time for some sun now? Here’s to you Ron.

Color of gold with a tiny touch of green hue. Nose of honey and ripe fruits, a bit mineral, and probably a bit citrus note. Taste is similar with some more zest note and a bit spicy. Aftertaste of honey ice tea. Done properly.
