Not a fan. Seemed sugary and fake. I’m not sure what they do in their process that makes this IGP but it does not have the qualities I look for in Viognier

A very good and drinkable organic Viognier from the Rhone by M. Chapoutier, who produces some of the great red Rhones. Under $30, full of ripe pear, melon and peach flavors with some soft acids and salinity to ensure its not cloying.

Very aromatic with peach, honeysuckle, fresh cut grass, white flower, and light tropical fruits. The medium to full body is fresh and richly textured, but lack lacks flower. Nice hint of seashell on the back palate. The fruit is supposedly from the vineyard/farm where Michel Chapoutier lives, in IGP Collines Rhodaniennes.
