I have opened tonight a sparkling wine, the Lucien Albrecht Crémant D'Alsace Brut Rosé. This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir in the Methodé Traditionelle. On the nose there is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, red currant, orange zest, creamy vanilla and floral notes. On the palate is strawberry, tart cherry, red currant, orange zest, cream, minerality and a touch of salt. This sparkling wine is medium bodied with fine constant bubbles and a creamy mouthfeel, medium to medium + acidity that leaves you with a long fresh crisp dry red fruit finish. Continued great week ahead and stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia!

Went to another tasting. Lucien Albrecht pioneered Crémant production in 1971 and helped gain an Appellation Contrôlêe for the wine and for Alsace. Pale Salmon, fine bubbles with a light creamy mousse and aromas of fresh red fruit with yeasty notes. On the palate ripe strawberry flavors, bright acidity, dry with mineral tones. Medium finish with good balance ending with fruit, mineral and yeast tang. Excellent value as a Champagne alternative! Tasting Sample.

Beautiful Crèment D'Alsace Brut Rosé! Super intense aromas of cherries and strawberries with a background of fresh baked bread, vanilla, honey & some floral notes. The value of Créments continue to amaze me! Incredibly complex and full of character. Love it.
