Still evolving in the bottle and in a very good place. It’s got chops to go another 2-3 years imo, but please, drink and enjoy when you can, you don’t want your precious bottles auctioned off after your time here is done.

Sourced mostly from estate grown vineyards, this bright Ruby Pinot has aromas of red fruits and sweet spices. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with underlying crispness, adding in some citrus and vanilla, rich in the mouth. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced complex ending. Very Nice! Tasted twice!

Tried a 2nd bottle 2 months after first ‘18. Sourced mostly from estate grown vineyards, this bright Ruby Pinot has aromas of red fruits and sweet spices. On the palate flavors of sweet cherry, plum and raspberry with underlying crispness, adding in some citrus and vanilla, rich in the mouth. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced complex vibrant ending. Very Nice! Fruit will mellow with age, I’ll try again in 6 months!

Deep blue berry based fruity aroma. It makes me feel calm. Not too much sweet and juicy, well balanced. Vanilla. Mid + body. Elegant. 2018 @,, 210704

This Joseph Phelps Pinot Noir shows the influences of a Cab master. Juicy raspberry and cherry aromas with strong notes of orange peel and cedar. Inky and dense for a Pinot, but not necessarily a bad thing. Just different. Very easy drinking and sure to please a variety of wine lovers. Good intro to Pinot for the Cab-only crowd.
